Asfaltart, the festival of the street theatre in Merano

Asfaltart is a street theatre festival which has taken place in Merano in the month of June since 2006.

The festival lasts 3 days and it opens with a parade of clowns, artists, musicians, dancers and acrobats who will enchant the center’s streets with their skills. Asfaltart, the international street art festival draws artists from all over the world every year, filling the streets of the city with dances, colors and lights.

Merano becomes an open-air stage for these artists who create an almost magical atmosphere, overwhelming, involving and exciting the public.

The Handcraft market and the gastronomy close the event, enriching the streets of the city with the originality and charm.
